The Buffalo News & Junior League of Buffalo has selected The Knox Summer Estate at Knox Farm State Park as the 2013 Decorators' Show House. If you have tickets for the Show House, you might want to stay for the day out in East Aurora. Here's what you can do:

Campus Tours Every Saturday at 1:00 pm
Explore this National Historic Landmark and its architecturally rich Arts and Crafts buildings through a docent led walking tour. Learn the history and philosophy of Elbert Hubbard, the Roycroft, and the Arts and Crafts Movement.

The East Aurora Historic Society will be offering open house-style tours will begin at 2p.m., Tuesday through Sunday during the Decorators' Showhouse event April 27-May 19. The tours will include the Millard Fillmore House, the Elbert Hubbard-Roycroft Museum and Baker Memorial United Methodist Church. Backstage tours of the Aurora Players' Roycroft Pavilion will be part of the tour on Saturdays, May 4 and 18 only. The Baker Memorial United Methodist Women will be providing lunch to the public during the Decorators' Show House on Saturday, May 4th and May 11th at a cost of $10 per person. Lunch will include soup, sandwich, beverage and dessert, and will be available in the basement recreation hall beginning at 11am until sold out. All are welcome!

LEGO CONTEST - Bring in a Lego Model related to the Decorators Show House by Saturday, May 25th. All Models will be displayed in our windows. Winners announced and prizes awarded and on Monday, May 27th. Three age categories 5 and under, 6 thru 8 and 9 and above. The models must be made of Lego or Duplo bricks and must have something to do with the Show House. Some ideas are the Know Estate, Knox Farm, a house, a kitchen, a contractor's truck, a decorator's van, a room, gardens, the possibilities are endless. Be creative.....but most importantly, have fun!

Also, any customer who brings in the program from the Show House will receive a 10% discount on any purchase made at the Toy Loft (this offer expries 5/25/2013).
