1)   Is there a museum?
Yes, at the Copper Shop Gallery, which is owned and operated by the RCC. When you enter the Copper Shop, the doors open to the 1902 portion of the building which houses a small museum area of historic photographs, original Roycroft items, a Dard Hunter window pane and an operational antique letter press printer and so much more!

2)   Are there Guided or self-guided tours?
If you provide us with advance notice, we are pleased to arrange a guided tour. The Roycroft Campus Corporation offers a wonderful, walking tour of the Roycroft Campus that includes a comprehensive educational experience. Learn about Elbert Hubbard's contributions and successes. Visitors will enjoy knowing the past present and future activities of each structure located on this National Historic Landmark. This adventure is filled with fun and enjoyable facts about people, places and things during a special time in our history! The Roycroft Campus Corporation also offers a wonderful, walking tour brochure. We welcome you to visit, explore and learn more about this Arts and Crafts Community. 3)   How many buildings are there?
The original Campus when at its peak had 14 buildings with operations. Currently there are 9 buildings remaining on the Campus. Two of these structures are owned by the RCC; the Copper Shop Gallery and the Power House. The Power House is at the beginning stages of being re-constructed. 4)   How many are open to the public?
Several of the buildings are occupied with private businesses and are open during normal business hours, yet are not actively part of the Campus tour.  The Copper Shop Gallery is open 7 days a week 10:00am – 5:00pm. 
Next door, inside “The Furniture Shop” you will find Roycroft Campus Antiques, Roycroft Shops, Roycroft Master Artisan, Gordie Galloway’s Leather Studio, Roycroft Pottery and Norberg’s Art and Custom Framing. A short walk down the Appian Way and you arrive at the Roycroft Inn, which is open to the public for a wonderful dining experience, overnight stay or to simply view and learn more about the restorations that have taken place.

5)   Is there a fee for visiting?
No, we welcome you to experience the Campus at your leisure.  If we are able to coordinate a guided tour for you and your guests, we do ask for a donation for $10 per person.  Keep in mind the funds collected are used to support the on going efforts in restorations on Campus. 

6)   Do artisans work there?
Not every day, yet often times we do have artisan demonstrations and classes that offer the opportunity for this enrichment.  Please check the RCC EVENTS listing from the home page for more information.

7)   Is the Roycroft Inn part of the Campus?
Yes, the Roycroft Inn is located directly across the street, a little journey along the Appian Way.  Built in 1897, the Roycroft Inn was the first print shop for Elbert Hubbard’s published works.  Please visit the website for more information www.roycroftinn.com

8)   Basically, what can a visitor expect?
Located in the quaint Village of East Aurora, a visit to the Roycroft Campus provides an experience rich with history, architecture, artisan goods and strong beliefs in the philosophy of Head, Heart and Hand. At the Copper Shop Gallery you will discover unique handcrafted items created by over 60 artisans on display and for sale as well as other gift shop items.  Classes, lectures and events are offered throughout the year by Roycroft and other Artisans.  Special tours and customized programming are also available by request.

Owned and operated by the Roycroft Campus Corporation, the Copper Shop Gallery is open daily from 10am-5pm.
