Inspired by the spirit, quality, and design of the Arts & Crafts Movement, Janice McDuffie has been producing pottery on the Roycroft campus for over 30 years. She creates one-of-a-kind pieces hand-thrown on a wheel and a limited edition of slip-cast pieces in porcelain high-fired to 2300° in a 60 cu. ft. downdraft gas kiln. Career Highlights •Featured in Arts and Crafts Style and Spirit: Roycroft Pottery established in 1972, is located in the original furniture and leather shop of the Roycroft Campus. The Campus has thirteen original buildings that once comprised the artisan's community created in 1895 by Elbert Hubbard. It remains the only working studio on the Campus today.
