Pamela Murray

Hello to everyone, my name is Pamela Murray and I am a jewelry designer/artisan. The name of my business is PM Creations, which I derived from my initials and the fact that most of my work is done in the evening. That time of day affords me down time and the jewelry designing and creating morphed from friends and family requesting I create pieces for them to me gaining the confidence to go out and sell my wares. But once I became a Mom I found my time to pursue painting was limited. I credit my inspiration for creating jewelry to my father-in-law who passed away a few years back. He purchased a very special handmade necklace for me. I got so many compliments on it that I decided that jewelry design was an artistic field I would like to try my hand at. After some training classes, including one taken here at the Roycroft Copper Shop, I am now proud to say that I believe I have found my artistic niche. I can create a custom piece based on someone’s request, be it color or favorite stone. Also available are my other one-of-a-kind pieces, where no two will ever be alike. Crazy as it sounds I also like to name my creations, mostly based on what inspired me for that specific piece.

I was born and raised in the Buffalo area, but recently a job change for my husband has brought me, my husband, two young sons, and our Great Dane, “Lily,” down to Charlotte, North Carolina, where we now reside. I value the wonderful relationship I have with the Roycroft Copper Shop and look forward to our mutual continued success together.
