When: Saturday May 12, 2007 from 9:30am-12:00pm Where: Roycroft Campus Copper Shop About: This class will provide students with the materials and knowledge to make a wire bracelet and matching earrings. Students will learn how to bend sterling silver wire, mold and shape it into their own creative design that will become a bracelet and later be the inspiration for a matching set of earrings. Each student will have a selection of beads to choose from to dress up their pieces. The combination of hand selected beads and personal design work makes for a wonderful handmade jewelry set. For ALL Ages Instructor: Cheryl Perez of Cristales del Mar (Glass from the Sea). Cheryl has been making jewelry for several years, specializing in Sea Glass Jewelry. She travels annually to Puerto Rico where she collects glass fragments from some of the most rural, and wild tide beaches on the island. She uses them in her jewelry design and as inspiration for other contemporary pieces. The Roycroft Copper Shop Gallery has several necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings designed and created personally by Cheryl Perez.
