When:     6:30 pm – 7:30 pm Friday, March 9, 2007

Where:   Roycroft Copper Shop. Located on the historic Roycroft Campus at 31 South Grove Street in East Aurora, NY

About:    Anyone interested in the Arts & Crafts movement already has an appreciation for the fine work that comes from creative hands. This informal lecture being held on the historic landmark, the Roycroft Campus, will introduce you to rugs that are considered to be the "antiques of tomorrow".

We will discuss how the designs are created, the differences between good and bad wool and dyes, and the finishing techniques. Choosing a rug is so much easier once you know what to look for. We will also discuss cleaning and repairing.

This invitation is presented by several staff members of Knot by Knot and owner, Reza Sattari. Reza is originally from Iran and will welcome questions about the lifestyle and background of the weavers. Feel free to bring any small rugs for Reza to appraise.

No Fees: Complimentary and Open to the Public ~ Refreshments will be served
