What: Dorothy Markert Prints Made with Rubbings & Textile When: Sunday, May 20, 2007, 1-4pm Where: Roycroft Campus Copper Shop About: Any textured surface can be used to create stencils that capture the look of the original surface. The artist often uses antique, embossed book covers, dried flowers and leaves, ribbon and laces, coins and wood. This technique can be combined with other stencil-making methods. Textile printing can be used for wearable art, home decorating, quilt making, etc.
