School and Youth Group Tours

The Roycroft Campus has quickly become an important destination for school field trip and other youth organizations including Scouting, Clubs and youth groups, offering assistance in addressing educational standards in our own unique way.

Students can visit this National Historical Landmark and learn about the arts, literature, business and history of the United States at the turn of the 19th to 20th century, many of the ideas and philosophies of Elbert Hubbard still resonant in today's society. For younger students a scavenger hunt can be incorporated into the tour.

Call to find out how you can customize your adventure by including activities into your visit. Students can immerse themselves into the ideals of the Arts and Crafts movement, finding the joy and satisfaction of creating with their own hands. A few examples include, creating and binding their own book or journal, seeing and participating in a demonstration of a printing press; learning about calligraphy and illuminating their initials into a colorful and elaborate design; or working with an artisan and learning the basics of metalwork. We have also begun working with the Scouts and arranging special badge days on the Campus.

Special rates are available for educational tours and cost varies depending on size of the group and activities included in the tour.

For more information on custom school and youth groups and to create a tour that is appropriate for your students, contact our Program Director at 716-655-0261 or send an e-mail to anowicki@roycroftcampuscorp.com.
