End of Winter Sessions – Nude/Semi-Nude Figure Drawing Open Studio (All 3 Sessions)
Saturdays & Sundays, March16th, 23rd & April 5th from 11:15pm – 1:30pm
The Roycroft Campus – 21 South Grove St. East Aurora, NY
Enjoy open figure drawing inspired by a nude/semi-nude model. Explore the techniques and approaches of your choice in an open atmosphere of fellow artists. This is a public, non-instructional figure/life drawing session for those interested in drawing from a live model. All participants must sign in and seating is limited.
Students are required to bring their own supplies, working in the medium of their choice. No toxic materials are allowed. The Castiglia Art Center will provide: Drawing boards, easels, tables, taborets, chairs and lights. Please feel free to bring a beverage and/or something to snack on. Students are required to clean the area that they work in and leave the space the way they found it.
Currently scheduled (subject to change):
Sunday, March 16th – nude Caucasian female (Matisse inspired)
Sunday, March 23rd – clothed Caucasian female, Colonial 18th century costume
Saturday, April 5th – clothed Caucasian female with Sheltie dog
Registration for all 3 Open Studio Tuition: $40 total – includes model fee
Individual pre-registration Open Studio sessions are $15 per session
Individual walk-ins Open Studio sessions are $18 per session
Pre-registration is preferred and seating is limited.
