The history of beadwork goes back several thousand years and is frequently found on ceremonial clothing in archeological sites throughout Europe, Africa, and Native American cultures. This is a great beginner class that will teach you the process of this ancient art of bead embroidery.
Students will receive step by step instructions on how to complete this beautiful hand sewn pendant/pin using the bead embroidery technique. PLEASE NOTE: Those interested in this class MUST have already taken any pre-requisite beginner class with this instructor to participate in this workshop or have equivalent skill level.
Students will receive a kit as well as written instructions. Students are highly recommended to bring magnification (reading) glasses, sharp scissors, and a portable light if possible. The instructor will have some of these items available to use but remain property of the instructor. Lunch will not be provided. The group will decide if they want to bring a lunch or make other arrangements.
