This safety course is a prerequisite for open Letterpress studio hours, which include the use of platen and cylinder presses in the Roycroft Campus Press Room. During class we will go over basic safety and first aid, preparing, maintaining, and cleaning the presses, troubleshooting tips for running the presses and setting type. A contract of good-faith between future studio attendees and the Roycroft Campus is also included. Information about the structure of studio sessions and how to sign-up will also be given.

Necole is Lead Printer at the Roycroft Campus. As a Roycroft Campus Artist in Residence she focuses on Printmaking, Letterpress and Illumination. Committed to art that empowers communities, she welcomes visitors in the Press Room every Friday & Saturday 11-4.

Class Tuition: $30 Supplies = Total $30
Registration is required and seating is limited. (Max. of 8 students). This workshop is open to those ages 16 – adult
