(with Naturalist, Mary Jo Graham)
Saturday, May 2 from 10:00am - 12:30pm
Many of the finest medicinal and culinary wild plants are growing in your own backyard. We’ll explore the Campus grounds for some of these familiar plants and discuss how they can be used for both food and health. We’ll also spend a bit of time doing some simple preparations using these plants.
Mary Jo is founder and director of Oakmoss Education, which works to bring people and nature into harmony through workshops, lectures and field outings. Ms. Graham is also an Assistant Professor in the Physics Department at SUNY Erie teaching Environmental Science and Field Ecology.
Class Tuition: $25
