Eta Rottenberg graduated with her B.A. in Design from University at Buffalo. She also studied painting and graphic design at the School of Visual Arts, as well as the Arts Students League in NYC. For ten years she worked as an artist and graphic designer in New York City.
Inspired by the people, city, and arts community in New York, she decided to return to her hometown of Buffalo, NY. As part of an experimental phase in her artwork, she began creating images of nature using new techniques in watercolor and gouache. Eta creates designs inspired by events and architectural icons in Buffalo, and pattern designs around the city.
