Chrissy Lapham is a Glass Artist who first discovered her passion for the material while studying Fine Arts at Alfred University’s School of Art & Design. She now lives in Corning, NY where she currently pursues her career as an independent glass artist, instructing glassblowing classes and assisting as a freelance glassworker. Lapham continues her education in glass at The Studio of The Corning Museum of Glass, a public access studio where she can rent hot shop time and take classes from world renowned glassworkers. The endless discoveries and challenges of working with glass drive her interest in the material and her desire to learn more. Technical processes and possibilities of how glass can be used as a material lend to her design ideas and provide inspiration. Lapham strives to make a diverse collection of functional and decorative home glass decor that showcases the beauty of the material and enhances our experience with our everyday surroundings. Each piece is handcrafted with quality and care.
