EC200 Heritage Commemoration Series: Hispanic Heritage of WNY

Join us for our final installment of the Erie County Bicentennial Heritage Commemoration Series at the Roycroft Campus featuring Hispanic Heritage Council of WNY!

This program is free to the public and will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a musical performance by Sol Y Sombra and the following speakers:

Esmeralda Sierra, President Hispanic Heritage Council of WNY Inc.

Kelly S. Hernandez, Wellcare Community Relations Outreach Specialist & HHC Director

Miguel Santos, Consumer Advocate National Grid

Casimiro Rodríguez, President Emeritus & Founder Hispanic Heritage Council of WNY Inc.

 

Flying Bison Brewing Company will be onsite offering beer tastings, and the Roycroft Inn will be open for additional food/beverage.

The event will take place on the Roycroft Campus’ Great Lawn from 2-5pm. Gates open at 1:30pm.

Attendees should bring their own blankets/chairs and may also bring their own refreshments; please observe a carry-in/carry-out policy for food/trash.

 

This event is presented by the office of Erie County Executive, Mark Poloncarz, and hosted by the Roycroft Campus.

Roycroft Campus Fall Festival

October 2nd & 3rd, 2021, 10am-5pm ET 

Enjoy the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of autumn on the Roycroft Campus in the heart of picturesque East Aurora, New York. The Campus will once again host a Fall Festival featuring a diverse group of local and regional artists, antique vendors and cultural groups. Throughout the weekend guests can also visit with animals from Thistle Creek Alpacas and Wild Spirit Education, and take part in artist demonstrations. Other highlights include live music, fresh popped kettle corn, apple cider, hot dogs and food trucks, all surrounded by pumpkins, corn stalks and the changing colors on the Campus grounds.

The Roycroft Campus and its programs are funded in part by Erie County, the New York State Council on the Arts, and a Humanities New York SHARP Grant with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the federal American Rescue Plan Act.
