Copper Shop Loft Gallery

Featuring Wildlife Artist, Judith Hartke | Exhibit Opening October 2nd

A Western New York Native, Judith Hartke spent her early life experiencing and exploring the natural world, with a sketchbook never far from her hands. After graduating from Cornell University with a degree in both Animal Science and Education, she worked for thirteen years as a Nutrition and Management consultant for dairy farms before transitioning to a full-time nature artist in 2003.

She quickly found success after winning New York State’s “Artist of the Year” competition several times, and has since had her works featured in cards, calendars and books. Although her medium of choice is often acrylics, she also uses charcoal, pastel, or oils based on the intricate details of the creature or scene she is creating.

When Hartke is not crafting beautiful works, she is teaching classes on holistic, art, spiritual and metaphysical topics while also working as a Reiki Master, BioGenesis Practitioner, and Spirit Artist/Medium. She also loves hiking, meditation, reading, and pursuing new skills when the time allows, and she looks forward to exploring new horizons in both art and life.

Shop the exhibit in-person or online through January 15, 2022.
