EC200 Heritage Commemoration Series: Trailblazing Women of WNY

Join us on Wednesday, July 28th for the second installment of the Erie County Bicentennial Heritage Commemoration Series at the Roycroft Campus featuring Trailblazing Women of WNY!

This program is free to the public and will feature musical performances by Buffalo Girlchoir and Daughters of Creative Sound, along with a panel discussion moderated by Karen King, PhD., Commissioner of Public Advocacy for Erie County, with the following speakers discussing the impact women of WNY have made on social change:

Amizetta Haj, speaking on Alice Hubbard
Dr. Lillian Williams, speaking on Mary Talbert
Kelly Hayes McAlonie, speaking on Louise Bethune
Dr. Lori Quigley, speaking on Geraldine Sid Tah Green

Flying Bison Brewing Company will be onsite offering beer tastings, and the Roycroft Inn will be open for additional food/beverage.

The event will take place on the Roycroft Campus’ Great Lawn from 6-8pm. 31 South Grove St. in East Aurora. Gates open at 5:30pm.

Attendees should bring their own blankets/chairs and may also bring their own refreshments; please observe a carry-in/carry-out policy for food/trash.

This event is presented by the office of Erie County Executive, Mark Poloncarz, and hosted by the Roycroft Campus.

Join us as we gather around a fire and enjoy three whiskey samples and a small food pairing kit!  Whiskey sommelier and Roycroft Campus board member, Erik Eustice will lead you through this two hour, one of a kind evening.

Roycroft Campus Fall Festival

October 2nd & 3rd, 2021, 10am-5pm ET 

Enjoy the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of autumn on the Roycroft Campus in the heart of picturesque East Aurora, New York. The Campus will once again host a Fall Festival featuring a diverse group of local and regional artists, antique vendors and cultural groups. Throughout the weekend guests can also visit with animals from Thistle Creek Alpacas and Wild Spirit Education, and take part in artist demonstrations. Other highlights include live music, fresh popped kettle corn, apple cider, hot dogs and food trucks, all surrounded by pumpkins, corn stalks and the changing colors on the Campus grounds.
